How to Go Live on Herohero
If you're planning to go live on Herohero, we've got a simple guide for you—from setup to streaming. To stream on Herohero, you'll need an external streaming app like OBS. 🙌
In the main menu on Herohero, click the plus icon ➕ to add a new post, then select Go Live 🎥. If this feature isn't enabled for you yet, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] for more information and activation.
Upload a thumbnail image, add a post description, and optionally include tags or content restrictions.
Copy your endpoint and stream key 🔑. Paste these details into your streaming app (such as OBS) to connect your live stream directly to Herohero. Then, start your stream.
Once your stream starts in OBS, it will automatically connect to Herohero, and you'll be able to stream live.
Check your stream preview before going live to ensure everything is working correctly. Keep in mind that there's always a slight delay (a few seconds) between what you do in OBS and what appears on Herohero—this is completely normal.
Publish your stream to share it with your fans. 🌎 Don't worry—you’re not live just yet, but your community will see that something exciting is coming!
What Your Subscribers See? Before you start streaming, your subscribers will see a Stream starting soon message on the post. Once you go live, this message disappears. After the stream ends, your subscribers will be notified that the stream is now available as a standard post for replay.
What You See
Start Live Streaming button: Clicking this starts your stream and displays the post details. Here, you’ll also find the Stop Stream button—once clicked, the recording will immediately save to your profile as a standard post ✨.
More stream controls (under the three-dot menu): You can share your stream, pin it to your profile, edit it, or check viewership stats 👀. If something goes wrong and your stream disconnects, you can always re-copy your stream key 🔑 from the post settings. If you click Delete, your stream will be permanently removed.
❗ You can only have one live stream at a time. If you create a new one, the previous stream will automatically end.
