Every profile on Herohero starts out as free. However, if you want to charge for access to your profile and start earning money from your content, you can set your subscription price in the Subscription section of your profile settings. And that brings us to the key question - what price should you set?

🤔 The subscription fee that you set up depends on the type and value of your content. For instance: the subscription fee on Herohero is usually between 4-7 EUR. We recommend setting the fee up around 4-7 EUR rather than 8 EUR, which could potentially be a high amount for a subscriber to pay. You can set your subscription price anywhere in the range of 3–200 EUR/USD per month.

Some creators also found it effective to start at a lower price (e.g. at 4–5 EUR) and later raise the price (to 6–7 EUR). We also recommend setting an annual subscription price - for many users it's more convenient to pay once than repeatedly every month.

Herohero was designed as an international platform that operates in two default currencies - EUR and USD. Currently, we are active not only in the Czech Republic but also in Slovakia, Spain, Germany, the US, and other countries. Using these internationally recognized currencies allows us to streamline payment management across regions.

💡 To simplify payouts without the need for currency conversion, we recommend linking a bank account in the same currency as your subscription price. If you add a bank account in a different native currency, Stripe will automatically perform the conversion using its current exchange rate.

On Herohero it is only possible to create one type of subscription. One price, for many users, is much more comprehensible and leads to more subscribers. There is no fragmentation of fans into different groups - this helps creators build a more familiar, community-like experience for their fans where everyone is equal.

💡 If you want to offer, for example, two different types of content at different prices, you can easily create multiple accounts under the same individual or business. Just make sure to use a different login email for each account.

Each time you change the subscription price, the change will only apply to new subscribers - existing ones will still be charged the original price. Your fans will always only pay as much as they signed up for. This can also be used for the purposes of various time-limited deals - for example, an offer of a reduced subscription price for a limited number of new subscribers.

In addition to a monthly subscription, you can offer an annual plan at a discounted price (up to 50% off compared to 12 monthly payments) in your profile's pricing settings. The annual plan can be offered on its own (in the 10–360 EUR/USD range), or alongside the monthly plan - however, if your monthly price is higher than 30 EUR/USD, the annual option unfortunately can't be offered.

In the same settings, you can also turn on two automatic offers: a trial offer for new subscribers (their first period - 72 hours up to 1 month, depending on your choice - is then free), and a retention offer – if someone tries to cancel their subscription, Herohero can automatically offer them one more period for free to help them reconsider. Both offers are optional and can be switched on or off at any time.
