You have successfully subscribed to your favorite creator. What now? 👀 Each creator offers their own catalogue of online content that is unlocked for you as long as you keep subscribing. You can stream their video and audio, read through the text posts, download any shared files and engage with the rest of the community (here or on Discord). Here are few tips on content browsing you might have not known about:
Search Page
The Search Page 🔎 on Herohero gives you an overview of all the content you care about. Think of it as as close you get to having a personal “feed”on Herohero – except you moderate it yourself, and nothing is being pushed or forced on you. Thanks to that, you only ever see what you actually want to see.
The search tool at the top of the page lets you quickly find specific posts or users – just choose the filter “creators” or “posts” and enter your keywords; matching results will appear instantly.
In the In progress 🔁 section, you’ll find all the posts you’ve started watching or listening to but haven’t finished yet. That way, you can quickly pick up where you left off and keep track of what you’ve already gone through and what’s still ahead of you. If you want to remove a post from this section, just open it and in the menu under the three-dot icon choose Mark as played ✅. You can also add posts to the list in the same way – simply click Mark as unplayed ✅.
In the New Posts section, you’ll see the most recent posts from the profiles you follow. It’s an easy way to stay up to date with what your favorite creators are sharing.
Discovering New Profiles
On the Search Page you’ll also find a list of all the profiles you currently subscribe to. At the end of this list you'll find an Explore button 👀, which takes you to the section of the same name. There you can – if you want to – browse profiles of creators you don’t know yet, across four categories:
New creators – a random selection of newly verified creators.
Recently active – a random selection of creators who have recently posted and have more than 50 subscribers.
Trending – a random selection of creators who gained the most new subscribers over the last 7 days.
Popular – a random selection of profiles with the largest subscriber counts across the platform.
Each of these lists is always randomly generated 🔀 – we don’t want to put weight on rankings or favor more successful creators over new and smaller ones. This way, every profile on Herohero has a fair chance to be discovered.
Filtering and Sorting Posts
You can easily filter the content of every profile you follow, so you only see what you are currently interested in 💅. Filters can be found under the three-line icon next to the category tags. You can sort content in four ways:
Newest – shows the latest posts at the top.
Oldest – takes you back to the very beginning of the profile.
Recently played – highlights posts you’ve “started” or haven’t finished yet.
Popular – sorts content by number of views.
You can also use the category tags 🏷 on your favorite creator's profile to only view the posts concerning a topic you are interested in.
Saving posts
You can conveniently save all the posts you like and/or want to return to in one place without having to search for them. Just click on the bookmark icon under the selected post - it will be automatically transferred to the Library section 📚 on your profile where you can access it later.
Playing video and audio posts
Our player works with all desktop and mobile devices with updated systems and allows you to play content with a locked screen. The player features include playback speed setting, looper, remembering the last position through different devices, and last but not least, the audio-only mode 🔈 – automatically generated audio track from each video file, ideal for when you don't need to watch the whole thing. you just want to listen to the audio track. This feature is also compatible with our RSS feature which allows you to listen to audio files outside of Herohero (find your guide to RSS here).
❗️ If you have troubles with streaming video content, it might be because it is protected by DRM. To play videos protected by DRM, make sure that your system is up-to-date and that you have enabled DRM playback in your browser. We recommend using Google Chrome for maximum compatibility.
