Your user profile
Your profile is what is visible to the others when they visit your Herohero page. Herohero is defined for its simple, compact and overall minimalist style, that makes all published content stand out for the right reasons – don't expect a lot of customisable features. Nevertheless, some elements of our interface can be adjusted via Account settings ⚙️ to fit your needs:
Your profile picture 🖼 – upload any picture or photograph you like. If you create your account via Google or Facebook, your profile picture connected to these accounts will be added to your profile automatically.
Your profile name – your default profile name will be generated from your sign up e-mail or your Google account, Facebook account or Apple ID. You can always change it to anything else (if it's corresponding to our community guidelines).
Your profile bio – tell people who you are and what you do. This is a great tool for creators 🖌 especially – tell your subscribers what can they expect from subscribing to your profile.
Your URL – each Herohero profile has it's own generated address (herohero.co/xxx...). The part after the slash can be modified to be easily memorisable and shareable (e.g. herohero.co/myamazingprofile). Some URLs might be already taken, so make sure to come up with something truly unique to you.
Other account settings
These won't be visible to anyone else but you, and are meant to make your interactions with our platform as comfortable as possible:
Your login email – to change the email you use to log into your Herohero profile, please contact us at [email protected].
Your password - if you want to use a combination of email and password to log in 🔐, it can be set or changed directly in this section, or during the login process using the action "Forgot your password?" – a link to change your password will be sent to your connected email address.
Payout section – this one is for creators only (more on Payouts here), so if you only came to subscribe, you can skip this one.
Payment section – add or remove payment methods anytime. This is where you will find receipts for your subscriptions as well.
Notifications – Herohero has only two kinds of notifications so far (as we want our platform to be stress-from-your-phone-beeping-all-the-time free 💆♀️) – you will receive notifications for new posts, messages, comments & comment replies and everything subscription-related in the notifications section 🔔 in our main menu. Furthermore, you'll receive an email notification 💌 every time a creator you subscribe to uploads a new post. You can turn off the sending of these automatically generated e-mail by clicking on the link attached at the end of each email.
Language – Pick your preferred language in the Language section of your profile settings. Herohero currently runs in English, Spanish, German, Czech and Slovak. Other languages are coming soon 🌍.
