All options for managing and editing your account on Herohero can be found in Account settings.
Your user profile
Your profile is what is visible to others when they visit your Herohero page. Herohero is defined by its simple, compact, and overall minimalist style, which makes your published content stand out for all the right reasons – so don't expect a huge range of customization features. Still, some elements can be adjusted to better fit your needs, either via Settings ⚙️ or directly through the Edit profile button on your page:
Your profile picture 🖼 - upload any picture or photograph you like. If you create your account via Google or Facebook, your profile picture connected to these accounts will be added to your profile automatically.
Your profile name - your default profile name will be generated from your sign up e-mail or your Google account, Facebook account or Apple ID. You can always change it to anything else (if it corresponds to our community guidelines).
Your profile bio - tell people who you are and what you do. This is a great tool for creators especially – tell your subscribers what they can expect from subscribing to your profile.
Your URL - each Herohero profile has its own generated address (herohero.co/xxx...). The part after the slash can be modified to be easily memorisable and shareable. Some URLs might already be taken, so make sure to come up with something truly unique to you.
Post previews - give people a taste of what they'll find on your profile to help them decide to subscribe. Learn more about previews here.
Other account settings
These won't be visible to anyone else but you, and are meant to make your interactions with our platform as comfortable as possible.
E-mail & Password
In this section of Settings, you can manage the following:
Your login email - you can change the email you use to log into your Herohero profile directly here, under Account & Security.
Your billing email - used as the address for receiving documentation related to your income from Herohero (if it should differ from your login email).
Your password - if you want to use a combination of email and password to log in 🔐, it can be set or changed directly in this section, or during the login process using "Forgot your password?" - a link to change your password will be sent to your connected email address.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) - for extra account security, you can enable two-factor sign-in verification in the same section.
Log out of all devices - if you suspect someone else has accessed your account, or if you simply want to make sure you're logged out everywhere, you can log out from all devices at once with a single click.
Payments and cards
Here you can add, change, or remove your payment methods at any time and find receipts for all your subscriptions.
Welcome message
The perfect way to automatically greet new subscribers and make your first connection with them. You can enable this feature and set your welcome message here 💬.
Insights
Profile insights help you better understand how your content is performing and how your community is growing. You'll find an overview of subscriber growth, income, or which posts received the strongest engagement.
Notifications
Herohero keeps notifications to an absolute minimum, as we want our platform to be free from the stress of your phone constantly beeping 💆♀️ - and you can easily manage all of them directly in the relevant section.
In-platform notifications - announcements about new posts, messages, comments, and everything subscription-related can always be found in the Notifications section 🔔 in the main menu.
Email notifications - every time a creator you subscribe to uploads a new post, or when you receive a message, you'll also get an email notification 💌.
In our iOS and Android app, you'll also find:
Push notifications - short alerts that pop up directly on your phone screen, even if you don't have the app open.
Language
Choose your preferred language. Herohero is currently available in English, Czech, Slovak, Polish, German, and Spanish.
Payouts
This section is for creators only. Here you can manage your payouts, including billing information and documentation of your income, as well as set the subscription price for your profile. If you're only here to subscribe to other creators, you can skip this one.
Integrations
In the Integrations section, you can connect your Herohero account with Spotify or Discord, or enable content synchronization with podcast apps through the RSS feature.
